PRIVACY POLICY

Consumable, Inc. (“Consumable,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) has adopted this Privacy Policy to describe how we collect, use, disclose, sell or share, retain, and protect personal information in connection with our websites and any other online content, tools, advertising products, platforms, or services that we control and that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Service”).
California terminology used in this Policy
For California consumers, “personal information,” “sell,” “share,” “sensitive personal information,” and “cross-context behavioral advertising” have the meanings given to those terms by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA). A device identifier, cookie identifier, IP address, online activity record, or similar identifier may be personal information under the CCPA even when it does not directly identify a person by name.

Personal Information We Collect
- Contact information. First and last name, email address, mailing address, phone number, professional title, and company name, including information submitted through our Contact Us features.
- Feedback and correspondence. Information you provide when you contact us with questions, feedback, support requests, or other correspondence.
- Usage and service information. Information associated with your use of interactive features, content you submit, and your interactions with the Service, except where prohibited by a supplier, publisher, customer, or other partner.
- Marketing information. Preferences for receiving communications and information about how you engage with those communications.
- Other information. Other information disclosed at the time of collection or used in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Information from third-party sources. We may receive personal information from affiliates, publishers, advertisers, agencies, business partners, service providers, and publicly available sources. Our ability to collect, use, retain, or combine information may be restricted by contract, law, or a partner’s instructions, and we honor those restrictions.
Information collected automatically. We, our service providers, and, where applicable, advertising partners may automatically collect information about a browser, device, or activity over time, including:
- Online activity data. Dates and times of access, pages or screens viewed, navigation paths, interactions with content or advertisements, and similar usage information.
- Device and network data. Device or advertising identifiers, cookie identifiers, browser type, operating system, screen resolution, IP address, network information, and related technical or traffic information.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies used for functionality, analytics, measurement, security, frequency capping, advertising, and related purposes.
How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information for the purposes described below and as otherwise disclosed at or before collection:
- Service delivery and support. To provide, operate, maintain, secure, and support the Service; communicate with customers and users; respond to inquiries; manage accounts; and fulfill contractual obligations.
- Advertising and campaign operations. To serve and deliver advertisements, select contextual or non-personalized content, manage campaigns, perform frequency capping, measure impressions and performance, prepare reports, prevent invalid traffic and fraud, and support related ad operations.
- Analytics, research, and development. To analyze and improve our products and services, develop new capabilities, test and debug systems, verify quality, and create aggregated or deidentified information where permitted by law.
- Marketing. To communicate about Consumable products, services, events, and other offerings as permitted by law and subject to applicable opt-out rights.
- Security, compliance, and protection. To prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to fraud, security incidents, cyberattacks, harmful or illegal activity, and to comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect rights, safety, and property.
- Other disclosed purposes. For other compatible purposes described in this Privacy Policy, in an applicable contract, at the point of collection, or with consent where required.
Advertising Practices and CCPA Roles
Contextual and non-personalized advertising. Consumable may provide advertising based on the content, application, webpage, general context, or other information associated with the current interaction, without using personal information from activity across unrelated businesses, websites, applications, or services to target the advertisement.
Cross-context behavioral advertising. In some circumstances, advertising may be targeted based on personal information obtained from a consumer’s activity across businesses, distinctly branded websites, applications, or services other than the business or service with which the consumer is intentionally interacting. Under the CCPA, this is “cross-context behavioral advertising” and disclosures for this purpose may constitute “sharing” of personal information.
When Consumable acts as a service provider or contractor. When a publisher, advertiser, customer, or other business appoints Consumable as a CCPA service provider or contractor, we process personal information only for the limited and specified business purposes identified in the applicable written agreement and as otherwise permitted by law. Depending on the service, those purposes may include ad serving, campaign delivery, contextual or non-cross-context advertising, measurement and reporting, frequency capping, fraud prevention, security, debugging, quality control, and related operational services.
In that service-provider or contractor capacity, Consumable does not sell or share personal information received under the applicable agreement; does not retain, use, or disclose that personal information outside the direct business relationship except as permitted by law; and does not provide cross-context behavioral advertising in that capacity. Consumable also does not combine personal information of consumers who have opted out of sale/sharing that we receive from or on behalf of a business with personal information received from another person or collected from our own consumer interactions for prohibited advertising or marketing uses.
When Consumable acts as a third party. If Consumable provides cross-context behavioral advertising or otherwise receives personal information in a manner that is treated as third-party processing under the CCPA, that activity is treated separately from service-provider/contractor processing and is subject to applicable sale/sharing opt-out requirements and contractual terms.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients, subject to applicable law, contracts, and privacy choices:
- Service providers and contractors. Companies that provide hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, security, customer support, email delivery, database management, measurement, and other services on our behalf under contractual restrictions.
- Publishers, advertisers, agencies, and business partners. Parties with whom we work to provide advertising, content, campaign, measurement, reporting, or related services.
- Advertising and technology partners. Third parties involved in advertising, measurement, identity or device matching, and related ad-tech functions. Where a disclosure constitutes CCPA “sharing,” California consumers have the right to opt out as described below.
- Professional advisors. Lawyers, auditors, insurers, bankers, and other professional advisors where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities and legal recipients. Government authorities, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
- Business transferees. Participants in an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
- Other recipients with consent or as disclosed. Other recipients where you direct us to disclose information, provide consent, or where the disclosure is otherwise described at the time of collection.
Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
Sale. Consumable does not sell personal information as “sell” is defined by the CCPA.
Sharing. Consumable may share certain personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California consumers may opt out of this sharing at any time using the methods described in “California Privacy Rights and Choices” below. Consumable honors qualifying Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as opt-out requests for the browser or device from which the signal is received.
Data Retention
Except where a longer period is required or permitted for a specific legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or recordkeeping purpose, Consumable retains identifiable user-level personal information for no more than one year. Some partners require shorter retention periods, which we honor. CCPA consumer-request records are retained for at least 24 months as required by applicable regulations. Suppression, opt-out, and privacy-preference records may be retained as reasonably necessary to honor a consumer’s choice. Aggregated or deidentified information may be retained longer where it is maintained in a form that does not constitute personal information under applicable law.
Your Choices
- Marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by emailing info@consumable.com. You may continue to receive service-related or non-marketing communications.
- Cookies and browser controls. Most browsers allow users to remove, reject, or limit cookies. Disabling cookies may affect Service functionality.
- Device-level advertising controls. Mobile and connected-device platforms may offer controls for advertising identifiers and personalized advertising.
- Industry opt-out tools. You may use applicable industry tools, including Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance choices, as supplemental methods for limiting interest-based advertising.
- Global Privacy Control. For California consumers, a qualifying GPC signal is treated as a request to opt out of sale/sharing as described below.
Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We maintain an incident-response process and make notifications to affected individuals and regulators when required by applicable law.Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without the affirmative authorization required by applicable law. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise remediate the information.Third-Party Sites and Services
The Service may contain links to or integrate with websites, applications, and online services operated by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage users to review those policies.International Data Transfers
Consumable is headquartered in the United States and may use service providers in other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers of personal information, we use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism, such as contractual safeguards, an applicable adequacy determination, or another legally recognized mechanism.California Privacy Rights and Choices
This section applies to California residents and describes rights under the CCPA. These rights are subject to exceptions and limitations provided by law.- Right to know and access. You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for collection/use, the categories of third parties to whom information is disclosed, sold, or shared, and related information. If we retain your personal information for longer than 12 months, you may request retained information collected beyond the preceding 12 months, back to January 1, 2022, subject to applicable exceptions such as impossibility or disproportionate effort.
- Right to delete. You may request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct. You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of sale/sharing. You may direct us not to sell or share your personal information. Consumable does not sell personal information, but may share certain personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to limit sensitive personal information. If we use or disclose sensitive personal information in a manner that gives rise to a CCPA right to limit, you may direct us to limit that use or disclosure. Where our use falls within an exception or does not involve inferring characteristics about a consumer, the right to limit may not apply.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising CCPA rights, except as otherwise permitted by law.
How to Exercise California Rights
Requests to know/access, delete, or correct. You may submit a request through Consumable’s website, by emailing info@consumable.com, or by calling (866) CNS-MBLE (267-6253). We may verify your identity and California residency as permitted by law. We will acknowledge qualifying requests within the applicable timeframe and respond within the time required by law.
Requests to opt out of sale/sharing. Visit our Consumer Opt-Out / Your Privacy Choices page, use the controls provided there, send a qualifying GPC signal, email info@consumable.com, or call (866) CNS-MBLE (267-6253). We do not require you to create an account or verify your identity to exercise the sale/sharing opt-out, although limited information may be needed to identify the browser, device, or advertising identifier to which the request applies. We process opt-out requests as soon as feasibly possible and no later than required by law.
Global Privacy Control. Consumable recognizes and honors qualifying GPC signals as requests to opt out of sale/sharing. Where technically feasible, our Service provides confirmation that the opt-out signal or request has been honored.
Authorized agents. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and may require you to verify your identity directly where permitted by law.

Categories of recipients may include advertising and ad-technology partners acting as third parties for that activity.
Business-purpose disclosures. Consumable also discloses personal information to service providers and contractors for the limited business purposes described in this Policy. Those disclosures are not treated as sale/sharing where the CCPA service-provider/contractor requirements are satisfied.
Information for European Users
If European data-protection law applies to our processing of your personal information, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and receive a portable copy of certain information. Our legal basis may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. You may submit a request to info@consumable.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date when changes are posted and provide additional notice of material changes where required by law. We review this Privacy Policy at least annually and update it as necessary to reflect our information practices and applicable legal requirements.Contact Us
