Consumer Opt Out
Consumable’s suite of advertising products utilizes several methods to deliver a more targeted and relevant experience to our customers. These methods are not dissimilar to most other advertising platforms and include the following:
- Cookies – Cookies are small files stored on your browser that typically store information like an anonymous user ID, frequency numbers, and other non-identifiable behavior information. At no time is personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or address stored in a cookie.
- Device ID and IP Address – Your IP address or Device ID (for mobile applications) is accessible and can be used to make your experience more tailored to your needs. Similar to cookies and all other forms of our advertising, we never link this information to personally identifiable information. In some jurisdictions like the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, this information is considered as personally identifiable and we treat it as such. Some of our suppliers do not permit us to store this information and we honor that requirement.
Consumable does not wish to deliver any experiences that are unwanted to our customers. To that end, we provide opt out mechanisms to limit what data we anonymously collect on you. It will not stop you from receiving our ads, but they will not be tailored to your data. To opt out of our experience targeting, please use the following procedures.
California Privacy Choices
Consumable does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We may, however, share certain personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information.
You may exercise this right using the controls provided on this page. Consumable also honors applicable browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC).
Opting out of sale or sharing does not prevent you from receiving advertising. You may continue to receive contextual or non-personalized advertising based on the content or service you are currently using rather than activity across different websites, applications, or services.
Web/Banner Advertisements
Web platforms include any browser based technologies including desktops, laptops, mobile browsers, etc. It does not include mobile apps or TV apps. These are also traditionally known as “banner ads” although they can also include video embedded in web pages. To opt out of our ad targeting technology in these mediums, please check the box below.
Mobile Applications
When you are receiving ads on mobile applications it is likely using your DeviceID to provide a more customized experience. To opt out of targeted ads in this manner, please use the following instructions provided by the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI).

Connected TV
